Day 1: Amman

Our representative will meet you at Queen Alia International Airport, assist you in the visa process and take you to your hotel in the centre of Amman.

Day 2: Amman – Um Qais – Ajloun – Jerash – Amman

After breakfast, we will head north to the Decapolis city of Umm Qais, rich with basalt ruins and overlooking the Jordan Valley, Golan Heights and Lake Tiberius (the Sea of Galilee). The tour continues to the town of Ajloun, with Saladin’s fortress and magnificent views of the Jordan Valley. We then proceed to Jerash, one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the world. In the evening, we will return to Amman and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Amman City Tour – Dead Sea

After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the ruins of Amman’s Roman theatre, the ancient Citadel, the Umayyad Palace and the Archaeological and Folklore museums. In the afternoon, we move on to the lowest point on the surface of the Earth at the Dead Sea for a swim in its warm, salty waters. We will stay overnight in a beautiful resort at the Dead Sea.

Day 4: Dead Sea – Mt. Nebo – Madaba – Wadi Mujib – Kerak – Petra

In the morning we head south along the King’s Way, an ancient route still marked by the traders, armies and pilgrims who used it centuries ago. We will visit Mount Nebo, the Biblical site with its monastery, and on to the Christian town of Madaba, “the City of Mosaics”. Next, we head for the imposing Kerak Castle through Wadi Mujib, a deep valley featuring some of Jordan’s most breathtaking views. After lunch, we visit Kerak Castle with its diverse history from the Byzantine to the Mamluk periods. In the evening, we depart for Petra, where we stay overnight.

Day 5: Petra

Through the eerie fissure known as the Siq, you come upon the famous Treasury and the sophisticated work of Nabataeans spread over a valley and the heights around. Our guided tour will introduce you to the wonders of the rose-red city with its Royal Tombs, burial chambers and High Place of Sacrifice. In the evening we return to the hotel.

Day 6: Petra – Little Petra – Wadi Rum – Aqaba

After breakfast, we proceed to nearby Little Petra, where Nabataeans used to entertain their guests, before continuing south to the enchanting desert of Wadi Rum for a jeep tour around some of the reserves most spectacular natural and historical features. Enjoy the sunset over a cup of Bedouin tea in the desert before we make for the beautiful Gulf city of Aqaba, where we overnight at a hotel.

Day 7: Aqaba – Amman

You are free to explore Aqaba at your leisure: relax on the beach, shop in the souq or snorkel amongst the coral reefs. In the evening we drive back to our hotel in Amman.

Day 8: Departure

We will take you to the airport in time for your flight home.
