Day 1: Arrive in Amman Fly toAmman and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Jerash & Amman Visit Jerash, one of the best preserved sites of Roman architecture in the world. Explore the forum, nymphaeum, hippodrome, two theatres (complete with numbered seats!) and several temples. Free evening in Amman to visit the Citadel or simply relax.

Day 3: Madaba, Mount Nebo & Kerak, Petra After breakfast, follow your guide on a walk through the nature reserve along old paths into the mountains. You then continue your journey through Kerak, with its formidable Crusader castle and pass spectacular mountain scenery to the town ofWadi Musa, close to the entrance ofPetra.

Day 4: Explore Petra At dawn, you enter a single vast chasm and follow the dusty path between the towering walls of unending rose-red rock until you catch your first glimpse ofPetra. You are free to explore the wondrous ‘Khazneh‘ or Treasury, climb to the monastery or mountain-top altars for spectacular views of the surrouding peaks, valleys and canyons below

Day 5: Wadi Rum Free morning. This afternoon you continue south to Wadi Rum, through the vast parched landscape, passing the black ‘beit ash shar’ tents of the Bedouin. You explore Wadi Rum on a 4WD drive into the desert before visiting a Bedouin encampment.

Day 6: Aqaba Transfer to Aqaba on the coast of theRed Sea, where you have free time to relax or snorkel amongst the colourful coral reefs.

Day 7: Dead Sea Today you visit the lowest point on earth, theDead Sea. You visit a baptism site and have the rest of the day free to float in the salty water.

Day 8: We will take you to Queen Alia airport to catch your flight home.

Prices

Prices are quoted in US dollars per person and are valid until September 2014.

Prices for Children

  • Children under 2 are free of charge.
  • Children aged from 2 to 5 pay 25% of the adult price.
  • Children aged from 6 to 11 pay 50% of the adult price.
  • Children 12 and over pay the full adult price.

Payment Policy

Reservations should be made as far in advance as possible so we can make the appropriate arrangements.

The booking will be secured upon receiving a deposit of 25%, or, during the Christmas and New Year holidays, a deposit of 50%. This deposit is part of your final payment. Deposits can only be made by wire transfer or through Western Union.

Jordan  Entry Visas

To enter Jordan, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your scheduled departure date. Visas can be obtained in advance from the Jordanian Consulate in your country of origin, or upon arrival at a Jordanian airport for USD 30. Please check for any special conditions attaching to your nationality beforehand.

Tipping

It is customary in Jordan to express satisfaction and gratitude for good service by giving a tip. A tip is much appreciated by guides, drivers, cleaning staff, etc., but tipping is not obligatory and the amount given is up to the tipper’s discretion.
